Hello again Candy German friends. It’s time to let you know what comes in your July German candy subscription box. But first there is an instagram account we would like to draw your attention to. @suss_sabine is a Candy German member who decided to take pictures and videos of her box every month and shares them on instagram. Please go and follow her, she deserves some more followers. By the way, our instagram is @candygerman
Pom-Bears are a all time favorite in your summer Candy German subscription box. You told us that you loved them in the past years, especially the ketchup style sort, so here it is again. Pom-Bär is a very well known product by the German company Intersnack. I remember Pom-Bär being a new product when I was a kid – it was really a must-have. Back then only the original sort was available, later other sorts completed the assortment. All sorts have in common that they are gluten free, without artificial flavor enhancers or artificial coloring, and they contain pure sunflower oil. The Pom-Bears Ketchup Style are very crunchy and tasty and have an intense ketchup flavor. They are pleasantly salty and not as greasy as normal potato chips are. Enjoy your Pom-Bears!
Your feedback was huge last year when we sent Nutella B-ready for the first time. You loved it and wanted more. Nutella B-ready is one of the few chocolate treats we can send during summer in your monthly candy subscription box from Germany, because the bread prevents the chocolate from melting. I’m sure most of you know Nutella. What the producer Ferrero did here is to put Nutella in a bread-like pastry. Simple and good idea! Actually, the pastry does not taste like bread. It’s more like a crunchy wafer. The Nutella cream is added by some puffed rice, so that this whole treat is very crispy. If you like Nutella, you will love this treat – especially when you are out and about and do not have a jar of Nutella and a loaf of bread in your bag. There is a package with 6 individually wrapped Nutella B-ready in your Candy German subscription box.
All of you know that the FIFA World Cup just passed. Congratulations to France!! This time Germany did not play well at all, but that’s pretty okay for us as long as Haribo puts their Pasta Flagga on the market during the World Cup season. So they did this time again. The last time we sent Haribo Pasta Flagga was in the very first Candy German subscription box, way back in May 2014 just before the World Cup 2014. So it is time you get the chance to taste it again. The little German flags are so yummy. They are fruity and sour. I think that's a great combination. Enjoy it!
Either you get the Alpen Fest roasted hazelnuts, the roasted almonds, or the roasted peanuts. All three sorts have a sugar coating. Nuts in a sweet coat – nothing can be wrong about that. Enjoy your crunchy and sweet German snack.
nimm 2 by the German candy company Storck is a very famous German candy brand. First nimm 2 = take 2 were only available as fruity filled hard candies, but today you also get a variety of gummy candies. The Lachgummi = laughing gummies softies are one of them. There are little fruits and leafs in your bag which are filled with a fruity liquid. The gummies are also added by different vitamins, so you get at least something healthy in this candy. The taste and texture of this German candy is so so good!
Gletscher Eis bonbons are always very popular in your monthly candy subscription box. I think that’s why they are so completely different from everything you normally know. The producer of these goodies is Villosa that is a part of Katjes since 2000. It’s quite difficult to describe the taste of the Gletscher Eis bonbons because it is so different from every other candy. Perhaps it would be the best way to describe it by starting with the name. Gletscher Eis means glacial ice. What I connect to glacial ice is something very cool and fresh and that’s exactly how the Gletscher Eis bonbons taste. They are kind of sour and minty but sweet at the same time. They are also kind of fruity although there is no fruit contained. The taste is kind of weird but I love these goodies. They are a very unique taste experience – and very refreshing in summer!
