It’s the 20th of July – this means it’s time for the blogpost about your July Candy German subscription box. This month your box is very full again. Be careful when you open it, so nothing gets damaged or slit open. Perhaps you already received your box by now. If not, decide whether you want to read the blogpost now or later.
Wolke 7 means Cloud 7 in English. Funnily the German Cloud 7 is in its meaning equal with the English Cloud 9. Does anyone know why this is so? Please let us know. One thing is clear: I float high in the sky when I taste the Katjes Wolke 7! The foamy little gummies are so fruity and squishy. There are little stars, clouds, rose-colored glasses, hearts, butterflies, and flowers in the bag. They come in five different flavours: strawberry, cherry, lemon, apple, and orange. There is a text on the back of the Katjes Wolke 7 "Today on Cloud 7 floatation works very easy: Put on the rose-colored glasses and reach for the stars! Still don’t have butterflies in your stomach?"" Okay, this text does not make much sense, but it’s kind of cute. Like all Katjes products the Wolke 7 gummies are suitable for vegetarians.
Last summer you received the Pom-Bears in your German candy subscription box too – the original flavored and the ketchup style bears. You told us that you loved them, especially the ketchup style sort, so here it is again. Pom-Bär is a very well known product by the German company Intersnack. I remember Pom-Bär being a new product when I was a kid – it was really a must-have. Back then only the original sort was available, later other sorts completed the assortment. All sorts have in common that they are gluten free, without artificial flavor enhancers or artificial coloring, and they contain pure sunflower oil. The Pom-Bears Ketchup Style are very crunchy and tasty and have an intense ketchup flavor. They are pleasantly salty and not as greasy as normal potato chips are. Enjoy your Pom-Bears!
Schulte Feingebäck is a very traditional German family business. Back in 1884 August Schulte founded a bread bakery. In 1922 his son started to expand the assortment with zwieback, biscuits and pastry. Today they have a huge assortment of different treats. The Waffel-Röllchen Nuss-Nougat = wafer rolls nut nougat are delicious. There is not much to say to describe them, the name says it all: The rolls are the perfect combination of crispiness and creaminess.
Yay Haribo! Probably the most send brand in the Candy German subscription box. The Crazy Pythons don’t only look phenomenal, they also taste wonderful. Every python has a name which includes its taste: Royal Raspberry, Amazing Apple, Lucky Lemon, Splashy Strawberry, Paradise Peach, and Crazy Cola. The pythons have a foamy ground and a fruity top. They are a fun treat for kids and grown-ups.
Either you got the Alpen Fest roasted hazelnuts, the roasted almonds, or the roasted peanuts. All three of them are glazed with sugar. Nuts in a sweet coat – nothing can be wrong about that. Enjoy your crunchy and sweet German snack.
There are two Corny bars in your monthly candy subscription box from Germany: the chocolate bar and the chocolate banana bar. I love both. The milk chocolate ground is added by a crunchy and thick cereal layer which is kind of sticky and stretchy. Both bars contain honey and have a chocolaty taste. The chocolate banana bar additionally has a nice banana flavor.
As always, we are happy about your feedback on your candy from Germany via firstname.lastname@example.org, on Facebook, or Twitter.
