Candy German February Box

When it comes to candy, time cannot past fast enough. The faster time goes by, the earlier it’s time for your next Candy German subscription box. Today we let you know all about your February box. We compiled it carefully again, so everyone should find the right candies for yourself in the box. But before, we want to say sorry to every American and Canadian subscriber who waited longer for his or her January box. Because of the snow storm in the end of January, some boxes were delayed. Luckily, delivery is always very reliable, so the boxes reached you finally.

Haribo Little Cupcakes

What an awesome new Haribo product! These little cupcakes are very unique in appearance and taste. You find bottoms and toppings in this German candy package. When you put them together you have an entire cupcake. The bottoms come in the flavors lemon biscuit and caramel cookie. You can combine them with a blueberry, orange, vanilla, strawberry, cherry, or lemon topping. The texture of these little treats is foamy and creamy – quite unusual for a gummy candy. It’s really a new taste experience. The bottoms and the toppings have different consistencies: The bottoms have a harder texture, similar to a toffee. The toppings are very light and squishy, they have a phenomenal fruity flavor. When you put a bottom and a topping together you almost have the feeling you are biting in a real cupcake with a cake bottom and a cream topping. I was very curious about this German candy when I first saw it and I’m sure you are too. Try it and you will be thrilled!

Prinzessin Feodora Sahne Mocca or Edelbitter Sahne

Prinzessin Feodora = princess Feodora is a premium brand for noble German chocolate and pralines. It came into being in 1910 and owes its name to the German Princess Feodora. The first time I recognized a Feodora product as a child was because of their chocolate Katzenzungen (cat's tongues). I loved the sweet milk chocolate bars, but Feodora was always a very expensive brand, so I only ate them during special occasions, e. g. Christmas. We are glad to present you a Feodora chocolate bar in your monthly candy subscription box from Germany. Either you got the Sahne Mocca bar or the Edelbitter Sahne bar. Sahne Mocca means Superior Creamy Mocca Chocolate, and that’s exactly how this bar tastes. If you are a coffee enthusiast, like I am, you will love this treat. It is very creamy and rich, and the Mocha taste is intense but not too intense. It’s probably the best coffee flavored chocolate I ever ate. The Edelbitter Sahne = Superior Creamy Dark Chocolate is equally good with the Sahne Mocca. It is creamy and rich too and it melts in your mouth. Sometimes dark chocolate is quite dry or dusty, but because of the added cream this bar is really a gourmet taste.

Brandt Knusper Herzen Kokostraum

Okay, Valentine’s Day is over this year, but we wanted to put at least one Valentine’s Day candy in your German candy subscription box. These little Knusperherzen Kokostraum = crispy hearts coconut dreanm consist of rusk coated with a coconut fat glaze. Normally, I’m not a huge rusk fan, because I used to eat it when I was feeling sick as a kid and could not eat anything else. So I was skeptical when I saw this product from the German rusk company Brandt. But when I tried the Knusperherzen, I was absolutely sure that they had to come in your Candy German subscription box. What I really liked was that the rusk is not just normal rusk, it is light brown and that’s why there is cocoa added to it. The coconut glaze that is sprinkled with dark chocolate is very delicious, it fits perfectly to the sweet rusk. I have to say, I’m a rusk fan now, especially when it comes in this combination.

Milka Collage

Yes, we often put Milka treats in your German candy subscription box. That’s on the one hand because you always let us know that you love Milka and want to see more of it, on the other hand the company has so many different products and they all taste extraordinarily good. So does their new product, the Milka Collage bar. I never saw a chocolate bar like this before and it made me curious about the taste immediately. The bar is divided into small milk chocolate shells. They are filled with a smooth milk chocolate cream. Raspberry and hazelnut pieces and small dark chocolate drops are added to the cream. Great, isn’t it!? I love this bar, it is very melting and I cannot stop eating it. The raspberry pieces give a light sour and fruity taste, the hazelnuts and dark chocolate pieces add a crunchy note. As always: Great job Milka!

Choceur Nussknacker

Probably the most traditional product in this month’s Candy German subscription box is the Nussknacker = nutcracker bar. I can remember it being on supermarket shelves since always. It is a very simple bar but as so often happens the most simple things are the best. The nutcracker bar consists of milk chocolate added by whole hazelnuts. The smooth milk chocolate in combination with the crunchy hazelnuts is so so good and it’s a good snack for in between when you’re little hungry. Hazelnuts are very nutritional and you got a lot of them in this bar. I love it!

Leibniz Minis Black ‘n White

Leibniz is a popular brand by the German biscuit producer Bahlsen. The Black ‘n White Minis are a variation of their most famous cookie, the original Leibniz butter cookie. It was invented in 1891 by Hermann Bahlsen. The Leibniz Minis are not only smaller they also have another flavor than the original ones. The butter cookie is dark because cocoa is added. From one side the treat is coated in white chocolate. What can I say, these little bite-sized chunks are just great, they are the perfect snack when you are out and about, because the package is resealable. I love to eat the Leibniz Minis with a cup of coffee.

Milch Jumbo

Perhaps you are wondering why there are six individual packed bars of this German candy in your monthly candy subscription box. We had a weight problem this month. One box is only allowed to weigh 1 kg, otherwise we would have to pay high shipping costs. So we decided to omit the carton packaging of the Milch Jumbos. On the picture down below you can see how this German candy comes in the carton. The Milch Jumbos = milk Jumbos are packed with many good things: A milk hazelnut cream is surrounded by a crunchy wafer. From the outside the treat is covered in milk chocolate and sprinkled with dark chocolate. These bars are really tasty, I love the combination of creamy, crunchy, and chocolaty textures and flavors. I’m sure you will like it too!
