Candy German April Box

Hello again everyone! Today we are going to tell you what comes in your April Candy German subscription box. We sent it on April 15th. Some of you were confused, because for a while now we do not send a shipping notice anymore. That’s why it is the same every month and we do not want to flood you with emails: We always ship on the 15th, if it is a Sunday or a holiday, one day earlier or later. So don’t worry, your box is on the way to your door as usual. Right now, temperatures in Germany and in the countries we mainly ship to are quite moderate, so we used the chance to put a lot of chocolate in April’s box. If temperatures should increase during the next weeks, be sure that we won’t send you anything that can melt. But for now, enjoy your April Candy German subscription box.

Kinder Schoko-Bons

Beside Milka, kinder Schokolade probably is the best known and most eaten German chocolate around the globe. And that’s not without reason: kinder Schokolade is absolutely delicious! We received so many emails from you asking "When will there be the next kinder product in the Candy German subscription box?". Here it is, the kinder Schoko-Bons. The little treats consist of a mouth-watering milk cream that is covered in smooth milk chocolate. The milk cream is added by small hazelnut pieces which give the goodies a crunchy note. I know no one who does not love kinder chocolate products. I’m sure you will love the kinder Schoko-Bons as well. Awesome, that there are so many of the goodies in this huge bag.

Haribo Goldbären Sauer

"Haribo macht Kinder froh und Erwachsene ebenso", is the company’s original German slogan. The translation would be "Haribo makes kids happy and grown-ups as well". In English that sounds not very melodic, because the rhyme is missing. So Haribo’s slogan in English speaking countries is "Kids and grown-ups love it so, the happy world of Haribo". I don’t know how many different Haribo sorts are available. The company’s website says that there are more than 200 sorts. The best thing about Haribo is that they constantly develop new sorts. The newest sort is Haribo Goldbären Sauer. They are a sour variation of the original Haribo gummy bears and are available since January 12, 2016. The Goldbären Sauer come in the flavors lemon, pineapple, orange, strawberry, raspberry, and apple, and are sprinkled with sour sugar. So, so good, I have to finish the bag immediately once it is open.

Toffifee

You told us that you want more Toffifee. Back then it was introduced to the market as an energy snack for business women – weird positioning, but okay… Today Toffifee is known for being the perfect family treat – everyone loves it, kids and grown-ups. I cannot imagine any Storck product that does not taste wonderful! On the package you can read: "Die Haselnuss in Caramel mit Nougatcreme und Schokolade". Mainly that is a description of this German candy. It says: The hazelnut in caramel with nougat cream and chocolate. Sounds awesome, doesn’t it? The soft and yummy caramel shell is filled harmonically with the most delicious ingredients. There is a whole hazelnut in the middle, surrounded by a smooth nougat cream. On the top there is a dot of dark chocolate icing. Those ingredients are the pure indulgence in combination. There are 15 pieces in your package, so there is enough for everyone. Enjoy it! Here you can see how to get the little treats out of the packaging.

Ritter Sport Knusper Tortilla Chips

Tortilla Chips and roasted crunchy corn in a milk chocolate bar?! Wow! I have never seen such a combination before. The German candy company Ritter Sport always is good for a surprise, they constantly invent new chocolate bar sorts, the Knusper Tortilla Chips probably is their most unique sort. Imagine a corn cracker that is covered in milk chocolate. That’s what the Ritter Sport bar reminds me of. But in a cracker you have more of the cracker and less of the chocolate, the Ritter Sport bar is the other way round. The milk chocolate is very rich and creamy, the small Tortilla pieces and the roasted corn are very crunchy and a bit salty. The corn taste is very intense and fits perfectly to the milk chocolate. Ritter Sport convinced me once again! By the way, do you know how to open a Ritter Sport bar correctly? Here is a very old commercial from 1977. The lady does the "trick with the kink".

De Beukelaer ChocOlé

Either you got the ChocOlé dark chocolate, milk chocolate, or caramel. It’s another German treat we put in your monthly candy subscription box before, and you told us you want more of it. The sticks are pretty twisted and covered two thirds in dark chocolate, milk chocolate, or white chocolate with caramel. The kind of cool looking cylinder box is rather pretty to put on the table when you have guests and you can close it again, if you don't want to eat all the ChocOlé immediately. The biscuit sticks and the different coatings fit together perfectly. The company claims that ChocOlé is "so crisp and enticing that every bite is special". I agree! One of the best thing about the sticks is that De Beukelaer uses UTZ certified cocoa. Thumbs up! We like companies that take care of sustainability.

Milka Bunte Kakaolinsen

Yay Milka! This milk chocolate bar is very special. We really wanted to put it in your German candy subscription box, so you get to know it. Bunte Kakaolinsen means colored cocoa lenses. Basically those lenses are ordinary Smarties, I’m sure everyone knows. Put in the Milka bar, the whole treat looks so pretty. The colorful sugar-coated Smarties shine through the bar when you open it. The chocolate tastes amazing, as Milka chocolate always does. The Smarties give the bar a lot of crunchiness and it’s fun to eat the treat. I’m sure your kids will love it and you of course as well!
