Hello again everyone! This month’s Candy German subscription box is very special, because it is the last of our winter boxes. This means you get a mixture of yummy chocolate products and much more. From next month on (May) you will get less chocolate products (only those that cannot melt), a lot of gummies, hard candies, cookies, etc. - and like past year a variety of German savory products! Past year’s summer boxes were a huge success. Many of you told us via email that you loved the German savory snacks we chose for you. So let’s do this again this summer! But first, get to know more about your April Candy German subscription box.
This year Easter lay directly between the shipping of the March and the April box. So, although the March box was this year’s Easter Candy German box, we decided to put another Easter treat in April’s box. I assume you do not have anything against another German Easter candy - especially when it comes from Haribo. Ostergras means Easter grass. There are dark green and light green "blades of grass" in your package. The flavor is very fruity and so yummy. Did you notice the wonderful smell of this German candy? It’s just mouth-watering.
All of you white chocolate lovers will be glad to see this German chocolate bar in your monthly candy subscription box from Germany. Ritter Sport is one of your favorite brands in your Candy German box. Most of their sorts consist of milk or dark chocolate, but there are also some sorts that consist of white chocolate – so does the Weisse Voll-Nuss = white whole nut. As the name promises, there are whole hazelnuts in the bar. These are very crunchy and aromatic because they are roasted. The white chocolate is very smooth, creamy, sweet… delicious. Enjoy this German chocolate bar!
Leibniz Pick Up found its way into the Candy German subscription box before, but it has been a while since we sent it the last time. So we thought it’s time for more Leibniz Pick Up. The best is, we found a package of 5 whole size bars for you. Furthermore this sort of the Pick Up is a new variation in the box. It has a white milk cream center surrounded by milk chocolate. This milk cream milk chocolate heart is sandwiched between two Leibniz butter cookies. The whole treat kind of reminds me of a kinder chocolate bar put into a cookie. Awesome!
I said it before on this blog… I cannot count your emails asking for more kinder Schokolade. I absolutely understand you. kinder Schokolade is my all time favorite German chocolate. I’m sure many people all around the globe mention kinder Schokolade too when they are asked for their favorite German candy. The combination of the little bars is very simple. Milk cream is covered in milk chocolate. Often the most simple things are the best. I'm in love with kinder Schokolade, it is very rich and creamy, it melts in your mouth. There are ten individually wrapped bars in your package. Normally, there are only eight bars, but this package is a special one.
This German candy is one of the most popular in Germany and one of the most popular in the Candy German subscription box. Again, we received many many emails from you asking for more Toffifee. Here it comes. Toffifee is produced since 1973. Back then it was introduced to the market as an energy snack for business women – weird positioning, but okay… Today Toffifee is known for being the perfect family treat – everyone loves it, kids and grown-ups. I cannot imagine any Storck product that does not taste wonderful! On the package you can read: "Die Haselnuss in Caramel mit Nougatcreme und Schokolade". Mainly that is a description of this German candy. It says: The hazelnut in caramel with nougat cream and chocolate. Sounds awesome, doesn’t it? The soft and yummy caramel shell is filled harmonically with the most delicious ingredients. There is a whole hazelnut in the middle, surrounded by a smooth nougat cream. On the top there is a dot of dark chocolate icing. Those ingredients are the pure indulgence in combination. There are 15 pieces in your package, so there is enough for everyone. Enjoy it! By the way, it’s very easy to get the little treats out of the packaging. Just watch this.
This month’s blog post ends with a highlight: four different chocolate bars, each of them different. Let us start with the Zart Herb bar. It’s a very simple dark chocolate bar including 50% cocoa. Dark chocolate enthusiasts will love this bar. The Edel Nougat bar is my favorite out of the four. It has a smooth nougat cream filling surrounded by milk chocolate – love it! Those of you who like marzipan will be pleased with the Edel Marzipan bar. A fine marzipan paste is covered in delicious dark chocolate. Last but not least comes the Edel Rahm bar. There is cream added to the milk chocolate which makes this treat extremely creamy. It melts in your mouth. There is a bar for everyone in this selection!
As always, we are happy about your feedback on your candy from Germany via firstname.lastname@example.org, on Facebook, or Twitter!
